Ceramic artist Santiago Sahli has created this collection of eight lamps for the first collaboration between POTT Gallery and lighting architecture studio Polight. The Taitao lamps pay homage to the peninsula of the same name in southern Chile, a territory where three tectonic plates converge. Their shape (two blocks between which a strip of soft light emerges) evokes this geological encounter. Their form combines refined geometry with a primitive appearance reminiscent of totems or the architecture of ancient civilisations.

Terracotta turned on a potter's wheel, made up of four handcrafted elements: two main pieces—base and shade/reflector, interchangeable in upper or lower position—an interior anchor attached to the reflector, and a bulb holder funnel integrated into the base.
Experimental engobe with liquid porcelain and chopped oak leaves collected in autumn in Madrid.
Finished with natural oils.
