Resembling a piece of burnt paper, this plate simulates the edges of an object after being exposed to fire. Although now it's ceramics that present themselves as powerful and flame-resistant, their irregularities after burning result in tremendous beauty.
Pieces crafted through modelling with torn edges. White stoneware with 0-0.2mm grog. Artist's own non-toxic, bright-satin textured, high-temperature glaze in electric blue, containing cobalt carbonate and iron oxide. Suitable for use as dinnerware, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Measurements: Height: 50 cm / Depth: 3 cm / Diameter: 28-29 cm.
