With a brutalist aesthetic, this pitcher is conceived using a technique similar to that of a traditional water jug (botijo). It's a solemn, austere piece, where one can even see the ceramist César Rivas's fingerprint. Sometimes, to reach beauty, one must take several steps back in history.
Clay sourced from the town of El Puente del Arzobispo (Toledo, Spain). Unglazed, burnished on the exterior. Suitable for liquids, although it might gently seep. Height: 27 cm / Diameter: 14.5 cm.
