Focater — [COM]PRESION Yellow

One of the most personal series by ceramic artist Agustí González (Focater). [COM]PRESION is “an analogy between physical behaviour and an emotional state, understanding pressure not only as a mechanical action, but also as a physical and sensory experience linked to contemporary life”. In this series, the sculptures emerge from processes of pressure and displacement, generating unstable, eroded or partially collapsed volumes, where the glaze acts as an outflow, tension or excess.

Chamotte stoneware produced through processes of moulding, pressure and tension applied to the material, combining casting and controlled deformation techniques.
