This vase is part of Everyday Blue, a collection by Anna Demidova inspired by the movement of the ocean and the ever-changing nature of water. Its sculptural silhouette, with organic, undulating forms, echoes the rhythm of the waves, whilst its intense blue glaze evokes the hypnotic depths of the sea. A piece reminiscent of Jean Arp’s biomorphic explorations, it blurs the boundaries between functional objects and contemporary sculpture.
